A while ago I was asked to be a guest artist at a local music show.
I hadn’t been on a stage for 10 years and anxiously said yes. I had to! When people think of you and recommend you for a show, you just gotta say yes!
I haven’t been so nervous in years! But it went well, better than I expected.
I’m glad I did it, it gave me the inspiration to get back on stage
Ad/poster for the show:
Video of me singing two songs, “Why don’t you do right” & “Baby what you want me to do”. The sound didn’t come out great in this video, people say it was better live. But here it is anyways
Review of the show in the local newspaper. Yikes! I couldn’t handle being famous, I’m sure And mama needs to lose some more weight I see :p I’m so thankful for all the positive and wonderful words about my performance. People have no idea how much it means to me, and I take nothing for granted. This will definitely be one of the most memorable moments in my life <3
Alain Clark – Wonderful Day
This time I covered “Angel from Montgomery”. I love finding songs that’s not necessarily very well known. I’m my worst critic so I really didn’t want to post this cover out there, but after watching “Why Not with Shania Twain” I thought; Why not??! The cover is not perfect in my opinion, but I can live with those few flaws for the world to hear. I know it will get better the more I record songs. Hope you like it <3
This cover and a few others are available for download on Soundcloud.
Andrew Belle covering “Knockin on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan
Elvis Presley – Baby what you want me to do
Kurt Elling has one of the world’s most amazing voices that I’ve ever heard!
It’s just breathtaking.. His vocal skills are out of this world!
I’m not the biggest fan of jazz, but I just can’t stop listening ;op
